Middle age is not for the  weak. Like many Black women, I’ve battled menopause symptoms, high blood pressure, low energy, and sleepless nights. The harsh reality?

As Black women we face higher risks for chronic illnesses and often shorter lifespans. Watching friends and family struggle with these challenges was my wake-up call.

Though my body had changed, inside I refused to believe it was all downhill from here. I still  wanted to stay active, travel, and enjoy my grandchildren for years to come. But I knew I had to take control of my health.

So, I dove into learning, earning a master's in public health and becoming a certified health coach. With this knowledge, I transformed my life—embracing healthier eating, exercise, stress management, and self-care.

Now, I’m on a mission to help other women do the same.
